KRONE VINDUER now launches a brand new alu/wood system called ”COto”.
The COto system is a composite window with weather resistant and virtually maintenance-free aluminum on the outside, classic wood on the inside and insulated composite intermediate piece to achieve supreme insulation. It should also be emphasized that the excellent insulation is achieved with 3-layer glass with argon (and not the scarce and energy intensive krypton)
Windows with opnable sashes have a documented U-value of 0.75 W/m2K. Fixed frame have an equivalent value of 0.65 W/m2K (figures are based on calculations of a reference window 1230 x 1480 mm). Both opnable a´nd fixed windows have a positive energy balance, thus giving a direct grant to the house's overall energy balance.
