Warm edge is a less thermal conductional material, which replaces the standard aluminium spacer in between the glass panes.
What´s it to you?
Warm edges causes less heatloss, and therefore also keeps dew and condensation on the internal glasspane to a minimum. This again causes savings to your heating bill.

The U-value describes how well the window isolates, and how much heat is lost through out the window.
What´s it to you?
The U-value is significant, because it is used for energy rapports, building permits and housetrades. It is also an important comparative tool, when choosing a window supplier.

It is a process where the wood knots are removed, and the wood is jointed again.
What´s it to you?
You avoid visible knots and resin, ie discolouration of the surface treatment. It gives a more uniform surface, where bad quality wood is removed. Finger joints ensures nearly 100% heartwood, and a longer shelf life.

Buildingregulations requires use of safetyglass in critical locations, which means that toughened or laminated glass should be used instead of standard floatglass.
What´s it to you?
You do not need to know the building regulations. We will advise you on how you meet the requirements for personal security and where safety glass is needed. It is a bit more expensive solution, but long term it is a good investment.

When the outdoor temperature is low, it may cause, even in insulating glass, to form dew or condensation, especially on the lower edge of the pane. When indoor air is cooled against the window, it can no longer retain moisture, which therefore condenses.
What´s it to you?
If you do not have thermal windows in your house, you will always struggle with condensation on the windows. Does your house have thermal windows, too much condensation, may suggest that indoor air is too humid. It is neither healthy for the house nor those who live there. Air thoroughly several times a day to minimize dew and condensation or establish efficient vents in the outer walls or windows.

Very highly insulated glazing may in special cases create condensation on the exterior side of the glass, due to minimal radiation of heat from inside the house.

Tophung has visible butthinges mounted on topframe. Topguided (which is most common) is mounted in sideframes, and slides down when it opens. The furniture is not visible from the outside.
What´s it to you?
Topguided sashes provides a good opportunity for natural ventilation when the frame descends upon opening. Air leaks out in the bottom, while fresh air enters at the top.

In accordance with building regulations it´s required for ventilation in some specific rooms. It is not enough that a window is openable there must be a ventilation valve. However this ventilation can also be mounted in ex. Brick walling.
What´s it to you?
Vents makes ventilation, without opening any sashes, possible. Therefore it also prevents burglary, when sashes are closed. The valves be mounted in the windows, but we recommend that they are installed in the outer wall or that mechanical ventilation are mounted. (Genvex).

To ensure an escape route from the accommodation in relation to any fire, there are clear rules / requirements for the sash size.
What´s it to you?
should be aware that the window sashes/free opening have the required size. This could mean that the window design might be amended, to observe the requirements. Ask us, we know the requirements.

It is a 12 mm groove on the inside window frame, meant for mounting of windowboard and glade panels.
What´s it to you?
If you need a windowboard or glade panels inside, you can, free of charge, choose to add the 12 mm groove/gladesnot on the inside frame. Your windowboards and glade panels should therefore easily be installed.

We are subject to control from DVC and CE, which requires that our windows meet the highest quality standards. This control is your assurance that our products comply with applicable requirements and standards.

ECO2 is an environmentally friendly coatings/surfacetreament.
What´s it to you?
To ensure minimal environmental impact, we apply a coating largely without poisons. It requires a special permit from DVC (Danish Window Certification) mainly because it also demands high quality wood.

Waterborne paint is built on acrylic base and has, unlike oil-based paint, great adhesion in moist environment. Acrylic paint has natural diffusion.
What´s it to you?
The diffusion surface is your guarantor that the steam pressure inside the house can pass through the timber and that the humid air do not repel the coating/paint.
