As a Danish window manufacturer, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to people, the environment, and society. Since our founding in 1953, environmental considerations and mindfulness have shaped both our products and production processes.
Towards a smaller carbon footprint in the future
The science is unequivocal: serious action is needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the adverse effects of climate change. As part of the DOVISTA group, KRONE has committed to Science Based Target initiatives (SBTi) and set ambitious goals for both short-term and net-zero reduction targets.
By 2030 – with 2021 as the base year – DOVISTA A/S commits to reducing its CO2 emissions by:
42% reduction from direct emissions from our companies, including our own production processes, leased vehicles, and heating systems (Scope 1), as well as indirect emissions from energy procurement (Scope 2).
25% reduction from indirect emissions within the value chain, including procurement of goods and services, inbound transportation from subcontractors, and outbound distribution and transportation to customers (Scope 3).
